Grok Bot Now on All SuperGrok & Cursor Pro Plans

On August 26, 2026, xAI announced that it has expanded the rollout of Grok Bot, its always-on AI teammate, to all SuperGrok and Cursor Pro plans. Previously available only on a handful of top-tier plans, Grok Bot is now included by default across the full SuperGrok and Cursor Pro lineup — about two weeks after its beta launch on August 11. The list of plans that include Grok Bot looks very different today than it did two weeks ago. The table below compares the two points in time.

The expansion brings Grok Bot down to entry-level tiers such as SuperGrok and Cursor Pro, dramatically widening the pool of users who can access it. Enterprise plans remain waitlist-only for now.

A key detail in the announcement is that Grok Bot runs on its own usage allowance. xAI states explicitly that work handed off to the Bot does not draw down your existing Grok or Cursor plan usage — in other words, you can delegate a large volume of tasks to the Bot without eating into the quota you use for regular chat or coding sessions.

That said, xAI has not published specific numbers for each plan's weekly usage allowance. Separately, an announcement on X stated that weekly usage limits would be reset for all users — a detail that appears in the X post but not on xAI's official news page, which is worth noting.

The examples xAI highlights suggest an agent that completes work inside real tools, not just a chat interface that drafts text for a human to copy and paste.

- Sales prospector: researches accounts, enriches them with information, and drafts personalized outreach (a human still approves before sending)
- Website builder: builds a site, purchases the domain, and deploys it, delivering a live public URL — including plugin configuration and redirect rules
- Digital declutterer: continuously audits email, Drive, and paid subscriptions, only discarding or canceling when instructed
- Customer support: reads support emails, connects to the payment provider, and processes routine refunds within policy
- Game artist: produces custom assets in the art pipeline following creative direction
- Office manager: works across Gmail, Slack, ServiceTitan, Quo, and client portals to take in work requests, plan capacity, and manage bookings
- Inbox manager: processes large volumes of email and leaves only what a person actually needs to read
- Meeting stand-in: attends meetings you can't make, represents your attendance, and sends detailed notes and a summary
- Refund manager: finds eligible charges, files claims, tracks them, and reports back on amounts recovered

xAI describes four defining traits of Grok Bot. The explicit mention of browser and terminal access stands out as the detail most relevant to this expansion, since far more users can now put it to use.

- Text-thread UX: message the Bot like a coworker; the same thread continues across mobile and desktop with no setup required
- Multiple Bots in parallel: spin up a researcher, a writer, and a chief of staff, and let Bots hand work off to each other inside a group chat
- A dedicated cloud computer: runs continuously with browser and terminal access, signs into apps, and finishes work inside real tools rather than just drafting a reply
- Routines: watch the Bot shadow you on a task once, and it can carry out the same task autonomously going forward

With this expansion, an entry-level monthly plan is now enough to try out an always-on AI teammate. Smaller companies no longer need to commit to a top-tier plan just to see what Grok Bot can actually do. That said, granting a Bot access to a browser, a terminal, or a payment provider raises real questions about permissions and oversight.
