JSON-LD

Also known as: JSON for Linked Data / 構造化データスクリプト

A method of encoding Schema.org vocabulary as JSON, embedded in HTML via a script tag with type='application/ld+json'. It adds structured data without touching the visible page markup.

Overview

JSON-LD is a W3C-recommended Linked Data format. Unlike Microdata or RDFa, it does not affect visible HTML markup. Google recommends JSON-LD, and in Next.js it can be injected dynamically using the Script component or generateMetadata.

Scope and Rich Results

JSON-LD supports FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Article, Product, LocalBusiness, and many more types. Correct implementation directly improves AI Overviews citation accuracy and enables rich results in SERPs. See implementation samples in our LLMO technical guide.
